2022 MMRC Summer Season Round 2: Well this wasn't the summery weather we were expecting. Regardless it was still one hell of a race! The track had a nice smoothness to it which put less stress on the batteries and made for a fun high speed/high stakes race style. Overtakes were tricky since it naturally put everyone on a similar line, and any deviation could very easily lead to a cascading effect of compounding errors across the lap. Balancing this to keep on the track was a challenge that was really fun to try and overcome and I wish we got to spend more time on the track!
We also had a driving club come down to visit and many of the fixed wing guys came along too which made for a really fun environment as we all shared our love for all things mechanical and technological! Overall it was a brilliant day with amazing people, and I can't wait for the next one.
As of posting this we are working on the Foxeer Caesar race drone video, and also the complete race coverage of the race the DVR above was taken from, along with some other cool videos which you will hopefully see very soon :)
